Syma RCs
Syma Helicopters are designed for the first time RC pilots in mind. Previously Remote control technology at this level would cost the hobbyist between $300 to $400 Dollars. Syma has removed the frustration of learning how to fly RC Helicopters and lets you enjoy the hobby like a seasoned pro in no time.
Syma models include micro palmed sized, midsized, large scale and my favorite military modeled helicopters. Looking for precision control with a small learning curve? Symas latest Gyroscope technology makes it easy and fun! Most models have metal frames making the helicopters durable because crashes will happen and having your new toy destroyed while learning is always a bummer. However accidents will happen even after you have mastered the indoor skies and here again Syma has you covered with the ability to buy replacement parts for your Helicopter.
The transmitter or controller takes 6 double A batteries to operate. The helicopter itself has a built in rechargeable battery that can be charged from the transmitter or via USB cord which hooks up to your computer. ( I personally recommend using a USB cord so as to not drain your batteries in your controller). The average charging times are up to 30 minutes and that equates to just over (12 minutes) of airtime. You will start noticing the ability to steer your air chopper once the battery does start to die more diffucult.
The Syma Helicopters are designed to be flown indoors only, and is recommended for ages 14 and older, the technology is awesome and could easily be flown by just about anybody with enough motor skills to ride a bicycle. This could be given as gift to pretty much any group young or old, followed by a smile as “Hey Check this out!”
The newest models of the Syma helicopters come with 3 channels. What this means to you, you can have you and two of your friends all flying at the same time without interference from each others transmitters.
Its easy to see Syma has done a great job in making this indoor helicopter easy and enjoyable to use, something rarely seen in the RC world. Enjoy!
